"I think it's absolutely horrific that 20 million dogs are killed every year because of the fear of rabies when there is an alternative solution. I really want to help WSPA to spread the word worldwide and end the cruelty that is happening at the moment. By educating people and getting vaccinations out there, we're helping both humans and animals.
"I have grown up with dogs and for them to be destroyed, to be killed like that - I can't actually express how upsetting it is! It is like a nightmare that this is allowed to happen.
"I think that WSPA's initiative in Bali is amazing and it proves that their solution works to protect humans, and of course to protect the animals. I wish that more governments would take this on board. I really hope that everyone joins me in supporting this campaign as this is something I feel really passionate about."

"I was absolutely shocked when I heard that governments around the world are resorting to poisoning, shooting or gassing dogs as a way to try and prevent the spread of rabies.
It's so important to spread the word about WSPA's effective and humane alternative solution - mass vaccination - so that this horrible cruelty ends. We must continue to demand collars, not cruelty, in the fight against rabies."

"Right now, WSPA is working to protect millions of dogs around the world that are being killed because of the fear of rabies - it doesn't have to be this way. In fact, vaccination is the only way to stop the spread of this deadly disease. WSPA vaccinates the dogs and puts a red collar on them, showing the communities that they are safe - saving them from cruel, painful deaths. I support this vital effort, standing with WSPA to ask governments and communities everywhere to choose collars - not cruelty - in the fight against rabies."

Hi I'm Frankie, beloved dog of Bridget the WSPA NZ Country Director. We might have more legs (and hair) than you humans, but us dogs need your help. Please make a stand for us four-legged friends and help WSPA tell other governments that 'Collars not Cruelty' will not help to eradicate rabies, vaccinating us will. Buying a virtual collar for $10, like Bridget has, will go a long way. If I had a credit card, I would buy 100!

"38 dogs are killed around the world, every minute in fear of rabies.
To think of one of my Labradors being killed, is brutal enough, but to think thousands are wiped out when a simple vaccination can save them, just seems so cruel.
Please help humans enjoy that special bond with the dogs in their life rather than fear it.
Please support WSPA and tell other governments around the world to choose 'collars not cruelty'."
